She cooks…..I eat!

Enough said, right? Every single day this week….I’ve bugged Ally (17 year olds move like they’re stuck in molasses, ya’ll) to make this yummy dessert! I knew if she did and I was home by myself that I would literally eat the whole pan!

So, I guess waiting until today was perfect planning on her part! Smart kid! We’re hosting a “little” USA World Cup game party for Sweetboy and his peeps. That should aid in the sharing of this amazing danish. Guys pretty much devour any food set before them. All we have to do….is supply it! Right?

I have to share this recipe. It’s so easy. Honestly, if you make this little dude and share it….people are going to fall in love with you. Unless they are like my husband who hates anything dairy, especially cream cheese! Weirdos! In that case……too bad for them. Yay for you! 🙂

Cream Cheese Danish
2 pkg crescent rolls
2 8oz. cream cheese-softened
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg separated

Spray 9×13 pan with Pam. Flatten 1 pkg crescent roll on bottom of pan. Mix softened cream cheese with egg yolk, vanilla and sugar until creamy. Pour onto dough in pan. Cut remaining can of crescents into strips. Lay them over top in criss-cross design. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 350 until just brown. Approximately 17-20 min.

Ready to go in the oven!

Thanks to whatever is acting goofy on my computer….this is the only photo available. I’ve been experiencing some wacky issues with uploading pictures onto my blog. If I can’t get it to cooperate soon. My computer will be dead to me! 🙁
