When God Isn’t Your God

I get so fed up with the garbage I see all around me. Just today, I watched a video of a BRAVE teenager speaking out against an article published on Teen Vogue about gift ideas for the friend whose had an abortion.

Look, when a teenager has more human decency than an adult writer blabbing about disgusting gift ideas to help cheer on the brave person who killed her baby – we catch a glimpse of a world that STILL HAS HOPE!

The world needs more Autumn’s in it. God give us more young men & women who see wrong for what it is, wrong!

I can’t get all in a tizzy! The world is just acting like the world and the people who walk and talk and write garbage such as that don’t know and love the God that I do. The God who created this world and all the people in it doesn’t accept abortion as an answer. However, He will repeatedly wrap His loving and forgiving arms around the person who chooses it, every time they come to Him for mercy.

My biggest issue with understanding how people justify their choices, lifestyles and lack of beliefs links directly to their faith or lack thereof.

See, a lot of people say they believe in God. A lot of people claim to be “Christian” and yet live like hell. Or better than that, live exactly however the heck they want to live. You know, as if there are NO CONSEQUENCES for their choices.

Here’s the dirty low-down. Not everyone who says they love God genuinely loves God. They love the idea of God. Otherwise, they’d live their lives completely different. It’s just a fact. Choosing to follow Christ with your whole heart and life is a huge decision. It’s a costly one too. Choosing to obey God and His rules (His Word) for your life will cause people to walk away. It will end relationships.

Being a Christian in today’s world is to risk being called every foul name in the book. Have you turned on the tv lately or scrolled through your Facebook or Twitter feed? Even your “friends” are making fun of believers and lovers of Jesus. Publicly admitting that you are a Christian can get you practically beat up these days.

So, why do your friends and mine act so vehemently ugly over yours/my faith? Because they haven’t experienced the Saul to Paul encounter with Him that’s changed their heart. For them, faith is a weak & unnecessary crutch that holds back real progress. They believe more in the world and it’s ever-changing hot topic agendas than a God who saves and will return someday for the faithful of this earth.

They’re just acting like humans. God isn’t their God, they’re the only God they need.

They Call Themselves Planners

By now, you’ve surely heard about or watched the video of the Planned Parenthood “doctor” discussing salvaging body parts of aborted babies as a service? Once again, society is faced with MORE KNOWLEDGE of the evil that reigns loud and proud (if you call catching them in a secret video whilst lunching casually – loud & proud) in their organization.

Everybody knows (at least those who give a rip about aborted LIVE BABIES) that Planned Parenthood is an evil entity hell-bent on servicing any woman or young teen who wishes to ditch a mistake. They call it planned parenthood, you know? Those of us who “plan” to parent don’t really need any of their services. Only those who need free or reduced birth control (and I’m not against that as an available service) except…..their big #1 job is performing abortions.

Anyone that doesn’t know that, is living under a rock or choosing NOT to know it on purpose. Which is your right. But, who is treated like the crazies in this country for sticking up for murdered babies? I’ll tell ya. It’s those of us who find their (PP) services to be disgusting and horrible. Don’t believe me? Tell someone you know that you are PRO-LIFE. Watch their face. Listen to their cockamamy reasons for finding it totally acceptable to suck out the unborn body of a baby living and growing every single minute inside its mother’s womb.

Before you walk away from the conversation, you will find yourself feeling like you are defending your very intelligence as a brain carrying human.

PRO-CHOICE folks are a group of people telling themselves the biggest lie on the earth.

It’s not a real live human and every woman should have the CHOICE.

Go ahead, send me all your protests against what I’m talking about and blast away at my knowledge of exactly what PP does for women. It won’t bother me a bit and it certainly won’t make me change my mind. Killing a baby (whether it was formed from rape, incest or just a really good night out partying) is murder and Planned Parenthood is the leading provider of this sick choice.

Now, for those of you who just can’t believe the newest news about harvesting tissue & organs for sale/profit….it’s just one more reason to shut this vile place down. Stop protecting this organization. Stop defending them. Stop destroying innocent lives of children who DON’T GET A CHOICE!

I’ve blogged about PP before. Our government sends them bakoodles of money and several businesses are affiliated with them as well. What in the world is it going to take to stop them from what many in our country so casually accepts as okay?

Did you know a dead person has more rights than a live baby?

Don’t believe me? Go dig up a corpse in a cemetery tonight and see what happens to you. Yet, you can go (and most likely not even have to pay for it because our government is quick to “help” you out) and abort a baby into the 24th week gestation.

This world is mad. This right is wrong. This organization is a pathetic excuse of a women’s help center. No denying it, I was sickened by the video that’s circulating around but what’s new with these people? I was sick of them before the video. I just wish the rest of our society was sick too.

Let’s Make Fun Cause We’re So Smart

Surely you've heard about the "funny" little spoof (video) Ashley Judd & friends have circulating for the world to see.  Oh, it's funny!  I mean, abortion is always hilarious…right?  Or shall I say, poking fun about it is anyway.  You may watch it and think the focus is strictly directed at Rick Santorum.  But it isn't.  What these star power gals (WHO are the other actresses again?) are trying to say is that anyone with CONSERVATIVE VALUES and who believe abortion is actually murder are idiots!

How pathetic!  I don't find the video funny nor do I find any of them intelligent.  Oh, it was creative in a mocking, slapyourmama kind of way.  But the best way I can think to describe it is  P O O R   T A S T E !!

I'm not a Rick Santorum supporter, so don't get the idea that I'm complaining because I'm all offended for my ex-candidate.  He's a man of integrity (as far as I'm concerned) but he wasn't my choice for a Presidential candidate!  The guy is getting picked on for his conservative beliefs.  Always classy, huh?  Make fun of the religious weirdos!

I also don't want you to get the wrong idea about WHO INFLUENCES me.  I'm not looking to HOLLYWOOD STARS for my decisions or ideals.  I like to keep my eyes focused in the direction of Christ and His word.  So far, it's never steered me in a direction that hurt or embarrassed me….ever!  Matter of fact, it has been the place I find the most comfort in a world gone mad.  The Ashley Judd's of this life are going to have to do much more than put out a spoof of garbage to change my heart.

So, my message to Ashley and her friends is this–you are an embarrassment to me as a woman/mother/American.  Your opinion is just that, yours.  If you want to poke fun of those who value life and stand strong for it…that's your right.  However, it will never make it right in my eyes or many other's who believe like I do.  God doesn't make mistakes, people do.
